in 1993, Southern Dunes is an upscale daily fee facility that

challenging and beautiful courses in Central Florida. Located just
outside Orlando and only 15 miles from Disney World, Southern Dunes
has become a local and tourist favorite.
Of
all the great golf courses in the Central Florida Area, Steve Smyer's
creation at Southern Dunes may be the most unique. This dramatic
hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100ft. of
elevation changes, not typically found in Central Florida.
The Southern Dunes golf
course meanders through a multi-facetted community of golf villas and
single family homes. With all the attractions of Central Florida,
easy access, and an award-winning challenging golf course, Southern
Dunes offers domestic and international visitors the ideal choice in
Florida living
Five sets of tees welcome
golfers of all skill levels to enjoy risk/reward opportunities, though
extensive mounding and strategically placed bunkers. The design is
enhanced by the well maintained playing surfaces. Southern Dunes
receives rave reviews from local and visiting golfers alike.
Residents can book games
on a daily basis, although reservations can be made online 90 days in
advance. Save $10.00 per player when you book your tee time
online. Simply present your confirmation to the golf shop staff.

 Southern Dunes Golf Shop
The
Southern Dunes golf shop combines all of the elements of a traditional
golf shop as well as unique specialty items that will please area
visitors and year round residents alike. The golf shop features the
latest in equipment and offers a complete selection of the latest in
men's and ladies apparel. Southern Dunes currently carries the following
clothing lines: Polo, Twin Hill, Cutter and Buck, Ashworth, Greg Norman,
Tehema and Ladies Cutter and Buck. Foot-Joy shoes and socks are well
stocked to handle all of your footwear needs.
As with all traditional golf shops, it is staffed with P.G.A.
Professionals who are eager to assist you.

 Tournaments
A
first class tournament experience awaits you at Southern Dunes Golf and
Country Club. Your tournament will receive the full attention of
our P.G.A. staff, insuring a successful event. Every detail of your
tournament will be tailor fit to your specific outing needs. By

Dunes Restaurant
The Southern Dunes
Restaurant offers a selection of breakfast/lunch menu items and are
served in generous portions to satisfy the largest of appetites. If
you're looking for a place to have dinner, the Southern Dunes Restaurant
is open two nights a week (Tuesday and Friday) and offers a variety of
entrees.

Club
Policies
- Southern Dunes does not
allow metal spikes. Soft spikes are required all year and can be
purchased at the golf shop
- All food and beverages
must be purchased on site.
- All players must
register in the golf shop before play
- Proper golf attire is
required. Tank tops and cut-offs are not allowed on the course.
- Players must be 18 or
older to rent a golf cart.
- All players must have
their own bag and set of clubs while playing. Rental clubs are
available in the Golf Shop
